Stage 01
Day one: surface preparation, repairs and the base coat
Diamond grinding back to sound concrete, crack and chip repair, the moisture blocking primer, then the pigmented base coat and the flake broadcast. This is the day that decides whether the floor lasts.
Stage 02
Day two: the polyaspartic clear coats
Two polyaspartic topcoats over the cured flake layer, which is what takes the finished build past 35 mils and why the work runs to a second day rather than one.
Stage 03
Departure: cleanup and the floor left to cure
Tools loaded, the garage swept and the space handed back. The coating still needs time to cure before the floor goes back into normal use, and the crew will tell you exactly how long before they pull away.
